but shopping for clothes just isn't fun anymore. Diggs christening is this Sunday so I have the formidable task of looking for a new dress.
Diggs was born in April and for that pregnancy I gained 50 lbs. It's been 3 months and I still have 20 more pounds to go. So needless to say, my pre-baby clothes are still not fitting me the way they should.
Last Saturday, I, along with MrD, the 2 babies, and my sister-in-law, head to the mall in search of a dress for my what I like to call "in transition" body. I tried on dress after dress only to get more discouraged.
Finally, when my spirit was almost completely knocked down - we saw it. A beautiful white cotton strapless dress with gold trim as detailing.
As luck would have it though, no size for me. The very helpful salesperson called other stores - but nothing.

Gigi,
Don't feel so bad bec I'm in the same boat. It wasn't in the cards for me to be one of those skinny pregnant woman and only gaining 15 lbs. I gained 50 lbs for both pregnancies and it so much harder to lose it the 2nd time around. The way I see it it, it took you 9 months to gain that weight so it will take you that long to lose most of it. Shae is 8 months and I'm down to the last 5lbs BUT I can't seem to lose that belly! I want my flat belly back so bad!!!
