Okay, so these are my most coveted items I own right now that help make pumping at work and even in the car (or wherever I am) do-able:
This bra has made multi-tasking possible! All I do is zip this baby up (no need to take anything off because it's a bustier), attach my containers, switch on the pump, and I'm hands-free! In my early days of nursing when I couldn't bear the pain, I would put this on and pump and feed Diggs a bottle at the same time. That way, I didn't miss a feeding and it killed 2 birds with one stone!
This cover has made NIP (nursing in public) so much easier for me (esp since MrD wasn't to keen on me NIP au de natural)! Once I got this, there was no more running to the car, banishing myself to a room alone during parties, etc. The cover goes around your neck so that there is no chance of it slipping off, and it curves perfectly on top so that I have easy access to peek in on Diggs while he is eating. Now, it serves as a dual purpose while pumping. While I drive and pump no one is the wiser, and while I pump at work in the little room without a lock, I don't have to be too mortified in case our janitor accidentally walks in on me!
3. and of course, my Medela Pump In Style!
This is the same pump I used with Mig so it's not as "cute" as the newer styles they have out now, but it does it's job and I don't go anywhere without it!

1-2-3 and zip! hands-free!
here are I am with Mig and Diggs at the Zoo in DC. Diggs had a melt-down in the middle of the zoo and I had no choice but to sit on a rock and nurse in the middle of the Asian Trail Exhibit. Thank God for my 'hooter hiders'!!

You may do this already, but my tips are:
- Bring multiple sets of pump parts so you don't have to wash while at work.
- Pump on one side while nursing on the other when you can, to try and build your freezer supply
thanks for the tips!! i'm going to start trying the pumping/nursing tip today! :)
